Hi. My name is Ray and I am the founder of SWEAT. I have created this studio to provide an environment that I could not find. During my life, I tried anything and everything on the market from different diets to different work outs. What I learned was that so much of it was a gimmick. I have been a member of numerous gyms and have worked with several trainers. During this journey I learned the truth which is boring and does not “sell’. The truth is that in order to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you eat. That’s it. In order to stay fit, you need to exercise at least three times a week. Sounds easy when it’s written, I know.
At SWEAT, we have created a series of classes based on creating a strong core (our core curriculum). The class program puts you on a schedule that keeps you coming back. The class environment helps you build relationships to support you on your journey.
Once you progress to our WOD (work out of the day), you will be performing at a level that you will never have achieved before. This system carries over into your everyday life. For me, the biggest benefit was a huge reduction in my stress level. It was not why I started the program, but it turned out to be a major side benefit.
